How many of you know the steps to making macarons?
Did you know it’s mostly egg whites, almond flour & powdered sugar?
Did you know a key ingredient to holding form is a small amount of cream of tartar?
You have to whip it like crazy & fold it softly to ensure it won’t deflate & tap it juuusssstt enough to get the air bubbles out as much as possible so it won’t crack while rising in the oven?
Baking is more than just making something yummy.
It’s using science & art & yourself.
Your emotions come out on everything you cook.
