Hey everyone!! I’ve been contacted by a local tattoo parlor in town, and theyve offered me a spot this weekend for their Friday the 13th flash sale. Anvil Ink and Art has really great artists and counter staff, and are looking forward to everyone coming out to their event this weekend.

That being said, I will be there Saturday March 14, and Sunday March 15 with a table in the area selling my goods, as well as Sunday being meal plate day. Once I create a menu, I will let everyone know what I will be bringing and how many of each plate as well as cost per plate. Active duty Military, veterans, first responders and law enforcement, teachers, and students will all be eligible for discounts provided with proper ID to verify status.

As always, we accept cash (exact change preferred), pay pal, Cash App, and tap to pay via square or Apple Cash! Our books are also open for private chef services, catering and custom orders. First come first serve for any bookings.

We will be bringing a limited amount of new items we are testing with the community, such as gluten free and vegan products, to see how everyone in the area enjoys these treats before adding them to our menu permanently.

Vegan butter tutorial!!!
218g refined coconut oil, slightly melted , 122 grams soy milk (or almond milk), pinch turmeric, 2 grams salt, 52 grams canola oil, 3 grams nutritional yeast, goptional 6grams soy lecithin), 9 grams apple cider vinegar. Add the vinegar to your milk as well as the yeast (add optional lecithin here if using) set aside for 5 minutes. Add your coconut oil to the canola oil, add salt and turmeric and pulse with emulsion blender to make smooth. Finally add your milk to the oils and blend until smooth, thick, glossy and light. Line a loaf pan with plastic or parchment and fill the pan with the butter, tap smooth and cover butter with plastic. Chill for 1-5 hours or just until set then cut into even chunks of butter then wrap in parchment to keep in the fridge for up to 3-6 weeks. Happy baking everyone!!

Tasty Tuesday!!!

As everyone knows, I’m doing a cookbook sign up for 75 featured spots. I do require registrants to be at least 13 years old or older (social media minimum age reqs) or have your parents or trusted adult sign up for you. For those who have their recipes featured in the cookbook, I will be offering a 75% off discount for the book with special codes you will receive when the book becomes published.

You’ll notice I ask for legal name and preferred name to use as well as home address. I ask for legal name because I’ll use that name for when I ship the book out to you when it’s time. I ask for preferred name because I know people want to keep identity hidden in public, but still want something personal to know it’s their entry. Please be assured that this information is hidden and kept offline from my pages and others. This information will only be used for purposes regarding the cookbooks.

I’m excited to start the year by making this happen with the cookbook and look forward to making many new friends in the process!
