🏆 WELL… I JUST FOUND OUT THERE’S MORE!! 🏆

You guys might remember my post from a few days ago about entering three of our sourdough loaves in the Professional Bakers Division and somehow walking away with three perfect scores and three 1st place ribbons. 🥇🥇🥇

Well… I found out today that our Jalapeño Cheddar Sourdough also won BEST OF SHOW!! 🤯🏆

I seriously don’t even know what to say.

What started as me just making sourdough has turned into this little bakery that I’m incredibly proud of. There have been a whole lot of early mornings, late nights, flour-covered everything, experimenting, failures, learning, and probably an unhealthy amount of obsessing over bread. 😂

To have something that came out of our little micro-bakery recognized like this — especially in the Professional Bakers Division — is pretty freaking amazing.

And the fact that it was the Jalapeño Cheddar makes it even better. If you’ve had that loaf, you already know. 😂🌶️🧀

Three 1st place ribbons.
And now… BEST OF SHOW!! 🏆

I’m incredibly proud of how far J&J Micro-Bakery has come, but even more grateful for this community that keeps showing up and supporting us.

Every loaf you buy, every post you share, every person you tell about us — you guys are helping build this right alongside us.

🏆 THREE 1ST PLACE RIBBONS!! 🏆

I’m pretty dang excited to share this one with you guys!

I entered three of our sourdough loaves in Division 5 – Professional Bakers and honestly wasn’t sure what to expect.
Especially considering we’ve never entered before!

I entered our Traditional Sourdough, Jalapeño Cheddar, and a Lemon Blueberry boule.

All three received PERFECT SCORES and all three took 1st place!! 🥇🥇🥇

I put a ton of time, work, and love into this little bakery, and there’s always something I’m trying to learn, tweak, or make better. So to have all three breads come back with perfect scores in the Professional Bakers division feels pretty freaking awesome.

But the coolest part is that none of this would be happening without all of you who buy our bread, tell your friends about us, come see us at the market, and continue supporting this little bakery of ours.

Seriously, THANK YOU!!

We are ISO an upright Freezer to continue growing our small Micro-Bakery. Our dough spends 12+ hours in the fridge/freezer before it goes into our ovens. If you or anyone you know is interested in letting one go please contact us!! We can also work out a trade (we own Epic Cleans LLC as well!) thank you!!

WE ARE BACK!!
And we’re so excited to see everyone tomorrow (August 8th) at the Farmington Growers Market! I have successfully installed our new oven 🤯. Let me tell you, it’s an absolute game changer 🔥🔥
We are still not quite in a position to increase production because we need an upright freezer for cold proofing… So if anyone has an extra freezer they would be willing to trade or sell for a stellar deal 😬 please let me know!
Can’t wait to see you all tomorrow!!

Ever wonder what our sourdough starter does when we are on vacation🤔?
It comes along✈️ ! This starter has never been in the refrigerator since it’s been in my possession. I believe that putting it in the fridge degrades it… So it enjoys the mountains 🏔️ camping 🏕️ and driving 🚙 across the country. So if you were ever curious, now you know!! The best thing is when it gets back home it’s READY to make the incredible sourdough that you all know and love!! See ya soon!!
