I’ve been planning to go for a long time, but had given up on going when my life flipped upside down and inside out. But thanks to a wonderful tribe of friends and family, I’m going to go! I’m excited to see old friends and meet some new faces as well. 😘😘😳

Happy birthday! You know who you are! I’m in love with this look. I used just the teensiest bit of airbrush color to achieve it. You can’t go overboard because water paper and water are not friends.

Who here HATES making soccer ball cookies? Me! I was pretty excited about plopping an Intricut Edible wafer paper soccer ball cutout on a cookie and walking away. Goooooooooaaaaaaaaaallllllll! (You can either color the wafer paper black and place it on a white cookie, or place the white wafer paper on a black cookie.)

I need to repeat this to myself 11 times/day. Who am I kidding? My life is STRAIGHT drama right now! I used decogel and disco dust to get the sparkles. One of my favorite parts of using Intricut Edibles wafer paper is that you don’t have to be limited by the shape of the cookie. The wafer paper can come off the cookie and make it so much more interesting.

I wish I was somewhere warm. Relaxing with the flamingoes. I love the layering 3D look you can get with the Intricut Edibles wafer paper shapes! I colored this with petal dust mixed with americolor flo-coat. (One of a few ways to do it.)

This is my husband Jason. He was my world. My instagram following is small comparatively. Every time I would hit another small milestone I would text him. And he would respond like I’d won a freakin Nobel prize. This last week I hit 1500 followers and I needed to text him and tell him. We would have danced in the kitchen. Jason was an avid swimmer. He swam 4 days/week and swam marathon swims of 6-10 miles in open water. On January 3, he went swimming and something went wrong (probably with a heart arrhythmia.) He died. Completely out of the blue. I am still trying to wrap my head around how a person can be here and then be gone. P**f! No warning, no preparation, no chance to say goodbye and I love you. Thank you to everybody who has reached out to me, prayed for me, donated to me and loved me. #

Do you ever feel inspired just to create? When I first looked through the Intricut Edibles selections, I saw all the little gears and clocks and felt so inspired. I made these nautical steampunk cookies just for fun. No order, no pressure, just creativity.
