It’s been a long time since we’ve done an introduction! We’re Ashley and Brock, the creatives behind Now It’s A Party! We’re self-taught bakers serving Fargo-Moorhead and the surrounding areas and even Bismarck on occasion. I (Ashley) bake and make all the frostings and components like chocolates or meringues. Brock makes these cakes look like a dream and together we want to make your celebrations delicious and unforgettable. We specialize not only in custom buttercream decorations but also unique flavors you won’t find in a box or from the grocery store bakery. This vanilla cake with an early grey tea soak is a delicate flavor revelation so good, they’ve ordered it twice! Combined with delicate flowers to match, it’s been a joy making cakes for this family, they’ve been ordering with us since we started and this 22 year old was only 13. 🥰

I’ve been dying to do a toad cake for a while. What better recipient than Grandpa Party Cakes himself, aka, “Toad”. This spice cake with apple butter buttercream was a delicious way to celebrate a birthday.

The last of our table cakes for the wedding in June. Such a fun opportunity! 57 layers of cake, close to 20 lbs of butter, 7 lbs of powdered sugar and 31 hours of labor. We’d do it again. 😊

I’ve been going back and forth on how to post allllll these cakes and I think I’ll group by color 😍 First up, the green cakes! The bride and groom had a cake for every table and 6 different flavors! The bride even took the time to create delicious descriptions for each flavor combination. The dark green cakes are strawberry cake covered and filled with chocolate frosting. The light green cakes are spice cake filled with apple butter buttercream and covered in brown sugar cinnamon buttercream. Stay tuned for more cakes! 🥰
