Happy Friyay!!!! So many adorable things have been added to the shoppe since my last time in. The Nautical decor is amazing and perfect for those beach houses! Lots of baking to do today so I'll be back with more....I also am refreshing jams this weekend. Head in to Southern Sol Shoppe today 10-5 and get you some treasures and tasty treats.

Here's a new product for all of my Vegan followers...honestly it's so good everyone should try it!!! This is the Funky Monkey Bar! With a cake like base, it's filled with banana flavor and smothered in a delightful peanut butter frosting! I may add finely crushed walnuts to the batter next time I make these scrumptious treats.

You can find these at Southern Sol Shoppe starting tomorrow and at the Overlea Farmers Market on Saturday.

This Saturday I am making my debut appearance at the Overlea Farmers Market. Up until now I have done events where only cash or electronic payment is accepted, but the market works with different agencies to ensure people with different forms of government assistance can purchase fresh goods. This is so exciting to me because some of these people wouldn't have the opportunity for fresh baked goods or fresh produce from Hubers' Harvest Farm.

Everyone has different views of people on assistance and we are all entitled to our opinions, please dont use this post as a way to get any negative opinions across...but remember you never know the circumstances behind a stranger you see using food stamps or other forms of assistance...and in today's economy very many families are just a paycheck shy of needing help.
