A little late posting these, but they're just as special! šŸ’•šŸŒø

I'm so grateful to have been a small part of such a special celebration. It was such a joy creating these Baby in Bloom cookies to celebrate the sweet baby girl on the way. Every cookie was made with love, and I'm so thankful to be trusted with adding a special touch to such a meaningful occasion.

Congratulations, Taylor! I hope your baby shower was everything you dreamed of. I can't wait to meet your precious baby girl and watch this beautiful new chapter unfold. šŸ’–šŸŒ¼šŸ¼

Another order hookup through my sister (makes being related to her worth itā€¦šŸ˜‰). The florals on this one pushed me way out of my comfort zone—I wasn’t sure I was ready, but I figured if I never tried, I’d never know!

If you ask Josh or saw my office at work you’d know pink and flowers are my personality. 🩷

I am honored to make cookies for a sweet girl, who deserves nothing but the best to celebrate her first trip around the world.

✨ Happy 1st Birthday, Aubrey! ✨

BIGGEST PROJECT YET!

10 batches of cookie dough.
3 flavors.
18 hours of cookie making.
2 burnt pans.
420+ full-size cookies.
500+ minis.

I’ve been keeping my little cookie business on the down low until I felt like my work was truly ā€œsell quality.ā€ These last few months have been some of the longest, most exhausting, stressful, messy days I’ve had in a while—but every reaction, smile, compliment, and bit of excitement makes it all worth it. šŸ’•

This past weekend, I took a HUGE step out of my comfort zone and signed up for the Richford Harvest Festival as my first event. It was nerve-wracking and exciting all at once—not only was this my biggest bake ever, but also my first time presenting my cookies as a business.

To be honest, I fell short of my overconfident expectations. I didn’t get everything finished, forgot some things, and only sold about 25 out of the 90 packages I brought. I’ve been hard on myself wondering if I priced too high, didn’t advertise enough, or just wasn’t fully prepared.

But here’s the thing—this was my first event. And despite everything, the compliments, the awe, the whispered ā€œthey’re so beautiful I’d feel bad eating them,ā€ the fact that they were mistaken for soap, candies, or even store-bought (!!)… all of that told me this was still a success. šŸ™Œ

The best part? I went home, put the leftovers in the freezer, and started brainstorming. Lessons learned, confidence gained. šŸ’” And I’m so excited to say I’ve already signed up for my second event—the Vermont Apple Festival & Craft Show in Springfield, VT! šŸŽāœØ

Here’s to growth, to learning, and to chasing dreams one cookie at a time. šŸ’›

Finally, the time is here.

This is the batch of cookies that started it all—the batch that inspired my dreams, sparked my creativity, and turned into a hobby I truly love. šŸ’• Seeing everyone’s amazement in these little creations has been so rewarding, and I’m so thankful for where this journey has taken me already.

This special order was made with lots of love for a very special growing family. Kilian continues to practice his cookie cutting skills, and of course he’s still holding onto his title as ā€œicing taste testerā€ (and dragged Loki into the role too). Don’t worry—the icing they sampled was just the leftovers!

Congratulations again to Brianna and Hunter—I cannot wait to meet baby boy! šŸ’™ You two are going to be amazing parents.

August 3rd, 2025

This round was a big one: 5 dozen cookies, 2 different orders, 2 flavors, and 5 themes.

One set was for a birthday party with pizza šŸ• and baseball ⚾ themes. The other was extra special—Auntie’s big 10-year-old’s birthday, and of course I had to go all out! šŸ’™ I picked 3 of Loki’s favorite sets of characters from each ā€œthemeā€ and made a whole variety just for him.

Of course, Kilian had to be part of the fun. He ā€œhelpedā€ cut out his own couple of cookies that no one was allowed to touch. Does Kilian eat the cookies? Nope. Does he lick the icing off? He tries… but royal icing isn’t exactly lick-off friendly.

Highlight of the weekend: I accidentally printed the Dog Man cutters too small… so Kilian scored new toys for his toy box at Auntie’s house.

Feeling grateful, a little sleep-deprived, but so happy to keep creating these memories one batch at a time. šŸ’•

My biggest cookie project yet!

First attempt at maple cookies and maple icing — which meant double the cookie dough, double the icing, and double the work.

Nine colors of plain icing, nine colors of maple icing, two piping consistencies for each color… let’s just say my kitchen looked like a paint studio. šŸŽØ

100 cookies later, after late nights (3–4am) and early mornings (7:30–8am), these beauties were ready just in time for our backyard family reunion potluck. šŸ°āš”ļø The theme was Renaissance, so I surprised everyone with castles, shields, knights, horses, and swords.

The best part? Everyone loved them. Hearing all the admiration and excitement started planting some business dreams in my head. Cookies even made it out to California and Colorado so family who couldn’t make it still got a taste of reunion magic.

Feeling tired but so full of joy (and maybe sugar).
