I’ve spent a lot of time lately planning for summer—looking at menus, farmers market prep, production schedules, and how I can best serve all of you while staying true to what Simply Sourdough is all about.
After giving it a lot of thought, I’ve decided to separate our pre-order pickup days and farmers market days for the summer.
Starting this month, pre-order porch pickups will be on Tuesdays, while you’ll find us at the Evergreen Park Farmers Market every Thursday from 8 AM–1 PM beginning June 18th.
This change allows me to focus on quality over quantity. I’d rather make fewer things really well than try to do too much at once.
You’ll also start seeing more variety throughout the summer. Think rotating cookies, scones, coffee cakes, cinnamon rolls, bagels, and other sourdough treats making appearances throughout the season.
This week’s menu drops tonight for Tuesday, June 16th pickup, and you’ll see a few favorites returning along with a more focused menu.
And if you’re coming to the farmers market this summer, we’re planning some fun *new* breads, focaccia flavors, and seasonal specials that may not always make it onto the pre-order menu.
Thank you for supporting this little neighborhood microbakery and allowing me to keep doing what I love. I can’t wait to see familiar faces and meet new ones at the market this summer. ❤️
