Hello, friends. ❤️
If you’ve noticed things have been a little quiet around here, I wanted to take a moment to share why.
The last few weeks brought two heartbreaking and completely unexpected losses—one in my family and one in my work family. Losing my brother-in-law and a coworker at the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office so close together was a reminder of just how precious and fragile life truly is.
I needed to step away for a little while to grieve, care for my family, and give myself the time and space to heal.
Today, I delivered these patriotic floral cupcakes for a sweet baby shower, and I couldn’t have asked for a more meaningful first order back. After a season filled with loss, it was a privilege to help celebrate new life and new beginnings. It reminded me that even in our deepest sorrow, there is still room for hope, joy, and beauty.
Creating has always been one of the ways I pour love into others, and today it was also a little healing for my own heart.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out, prayed for our family, checked in, and continued to support this little business. Your kindness and grace have meant more than you know.
I’m thankful to be back and look forward to helping celebrate all of life’s sweetest moments with you again.

Just a quick heads up, friends! 🧁⚾

This weekend, I’m trading cupcakes for baseball fields and spending time cheering on BOTH of my boys as they compete in the Rec World Series! ❤️

Not to be dramatic, but watching this bouquet leave my porch last night felt like the season finale. 🎬🎓💙

Another bouquet went out tonight and honestly these cupcake flowers are getting more attention than I do. 💐🧁😂

People see them and immediately go:
“WAIT… those are cupcakes?!”

Meanwhile I’m standing there covered in powdered sugar, running on caffeine and buttercream fumes like:
“Yes. Yes they are.” ✨🤣

At this point my toxic trait is believing every event needs an edible bouquet centerpiece. Birthday? Cupcakes. Baby shower? Cupcakes. Girls’ night? Cupcakes. Me rewarding myself for surviving the week? Definitely cupcakes. 🌸💕
