Just starting off small and no clue how far we will go... but maybe someday, we will have to have helpers assigned to helping out in The Ice Cream Parlor in Jenny Lyns at The Schoolhouse to help keep the tables cleaned, chairs pushed in, and give service with a smile if we expand our sweet treats line up and you can pay them upstairs... maybe even get some on roller skates like the 50s

Hey You Guys....and Gals 😊.

Its that crazy lady and its 1am in the morning because I just did a crazy thing!

I told you in 2026, I was going to create a new website which included the option to buy some of our handmade creations online...
..shopping from our website and shipping to your home!
...well, I was going to take the easy road and have someone do it for me because I am not to techy ...
...but that was going to cost me $3500-$4500 after a discount and its money I do not have...
..I would have to put it on my 2028 "to do" list.
..but I ain't got that time to wait so back to doing a whole bunch of self learning with a whole bunch of trial and error...
.. and time invested!
..I had a little time this evening and taking a break from paper crunching paperwork which i will resume again when I am back in the shop on Thursday, actually today.... in t-minus 9 hours.
..so i just spent the past 5 hours trying to do the Jenny Lyn impossible...
..but as they say, nothing is impossible if you dont give up and say to yourself , I'm Possible!
..guess what, Jenny Lyns now has our very own e-commerce website.

Now to keep growing my knowledge and add more categories and then creations for sale under each one.

Practice makes Perfect...

And determination, perseverance, and persistence plus one crazy lady that knows she is 100% crazy ...
.. who has a dream and on a mission to keep doing the impossible
..its costs me less than $300 for a years worth of an e-commerce website and it will be double next year cause I saved 40% for my 1st year.

I didnt want to sign up for longer than that incase I dont like it...
..but I think I am going to LOVE IT!
..if i can figure more out and save me a whole lot of money, you better believe I will be doing a whole lot more self teaching this website building thing because i am all about...
.. trying to reach the limits of my brain powers if I can not keep going further into my debt over the past 4 years since starting this small but now large small business gig.

This has been part of my dream for awhile now and I was working on getting it started when I had my shop in the barn.... I had received the samples and everything and was ready to go forward with that idea in spring 2024....
...but then life took an interesting turn at that shop so that never proceeded then or there.
...but, here we are, 2 years later.... and as I say, you gotta start as long as you start.

This was started then put on hold as I was busy with life doing The Schoolhouse thing and then The Mercantile thing...
...now we are taking more steps forward with the ice cream addition to the the Schoolhouse
..you all know that I am 1 crazy lady who creates crazy posts so you will probably want to follow along with me on this page

This Schoolhouse is the perfect location and the perfect shop to start an ice cream parlor...
..come on in and shop, socialize, sip, snack and support small

This will be the start of our ice cream selection to pick from... 11 different options plus more will be added later when some of the others get back in stock.

AND.... we will be adding more varieties of other ice cream choices to make it a very "cool" ice cream shop taking you back in time to the old school days
