👩🏻🔬 Using a vegan cream cheese alternative had not yielded results I was happy with so I put on my chemistry hat (or coat?) and got to work.

When I was asked to make a winter wonderland cake for a July Quinceañera I didn’t ask questions!
With the heat we have been having I welcomed the idea of a cool winter day (although I am a summer kind of girl…so only for a second).
A little backstory with this one…
For the past three years I have done cakes for my father in law’s birthday. He is a creative and artistic guy so I always try to do something unique and special for him.
2021 was a geode cake. 2022 was working with rice paper sails. 2023 was painting on buttercream & palette knife. I love that I can also document how my style has changed over time.
