ElkhartCares Offers Free Family Fun at Elktoberfest
At ElkhartCares, supporting local families means more than helping when times are difficult. It also means creating opportunities to spend time together, have fun, and feel connected to the community.
Research shows that strong social connections support better health and well-being and help communities become stronger and more resilient. That is one reason ElkhartCares is proud to offer free, family-friendly activities throughout the Elkhart Lake–Glenbeulah community.
This fall, ElkhartCares will once again offer the Root B**r Garten at Elktoberfest on September 19, from 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. at Village Square Park in downtown Elkhart Lake. Kids and their families can stop by, enjoy festive non-alcoholic beverages and activities, and spend time together without worrying about the cost.
Visitors can expect a welcoming children’s area with fall fun, activities, and plenty of opportunities to simply enjoy being together.
For ElkhartCares, these moments are part of a larger mission to support families, strengthen community connections, and help ensure that everyone has opportunities to participate and thrive.
ElkhartCares is a local nonprofit serving the Elkhart Lake–Glenbeulah community through scholarships, family assistance, student and school support, and free community programs. Thanks to a grant that covers administrative expenses, 100% of public donations go directly to local programs and families.
