✨Aloha!✨

As many as of you know, Kalani Kakes has been quieter this past year. I stepped back to focus on my health and ohana, which meant I had to decline many orders and events I would have loved to be part of. But now, as we reach our 6th year anniversary, I feel it’s time to share something from the heart. 💛

For the past 6 years, Kalani Kakes has been my passion and joy. Every recipe, every cupcake, every butter mochi was made with aloha-infused with flavors and tradition that mean so much to my ohana. We’ve created desserts for engagements, weddings, new babies, retirements and everything in between.🥂🧁

We’ve popped up at events, partnered with local coffee shops, shipped cake jars and cookies across the country, taught cake decorating classes and even created special events including Kalani Kafe and island style afternoon tea. I’ve been blessed with opportunities to share my story on the Drew Barrymore Show, local TV, podcasts and in magazines—and most importantly, I’ve been able to connect with all of you, who made this journey so meaningful.🫶

This past year, I found myself asking: What is the future of Kalani Kakes? I explored ideas like opening a cafe, and partnering with other businesses. But as my ohana grows and my children step into new chapters of their own, I know it’s my turn to be more present with them—just as they’ve always been there for me.✨

So today, with both gratitude and excitement for what’s next, I’m announcing that Kalani Kakes is officially for sale.🌺

We’re looking for someone with heart, creativity and mana to carry this brand into its next chapter—whether it’s baker, cafe, coffee shop or restaurant ready to expand.

🌺𝘈𝘭𝘰𝘩𝘢 𝘰𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘢! Long time no see! Yes, it’s been a very long time since we have had a popup. With the current economy and being a specialty baker, our ingredients have skyrocketed in price. We’ve paused KK and will be re-evaluating things in the summer. In the meantime, we are helping plan a cars and coffee event hosted by our car club. KK won’t have a booth, but if you’re a car enthusiast and would love to stop by and say aloha, I will be there! Our friends will be offering a limited menu for the event, and will have an onolicious breakfast menu. 𝘞𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦!🤙⁣

As 2024 comes to a close, we wanted to share our sincere gratitude for all those have supported Kalani Kakes. This year was a little slower for us as we balanced time with our ohana and we appreciate that since time is precious. In 2025, we will not be accepting any custom orders, or shipping products any longer, but may plan occasional bake sales and seasonal popups. It was our pleasure to see you at popups and fulfill orders for you all, mahalo nui loa! We are extremely grateful for the blessings this year brought to us. ⁣
