Our next recipient of ‘Peasy With A Purpose’ is Wirt County Primary Center. We will be set up at the Prinary Center on Tuesday, 8/11 during the Open House. A percentage of sales will go directly to the WCPC PTO.

Our sweet flower friend Shali Casto of Given Flower Company tagged us in this post. We were busy today and are just now seeing it.

We are honored to be included in this list of WV farms. While we are no longer hosting traditional PYO, we are happy to share that we have returned to our ‘roots’ and are hosting curated floral design experiences. As we transition the original PYO bed to the ‘Ladies of White Picket’ garden we enjoy sharing her new look - but same purpose. We want our guests to leave feeling closer to our creator.

If you are interested in a curated floral design experience for groups of 5-8, we have limited availability but invite you to inquire and we will happily check our schedule.

Three years of celebrating these beautiful ladies’ birthdays. We feel blessed to be part of these annual life events that remind us to slow down long enough to enjoy each other and the beauty God has to offer. They were fond of the new curated PYO option and of course the Peasy lemonade.

This year I had the pleasure of entertaining the youngest attendee, Miss Josie. She found my singing and toe games more interesting than the flowers. She just wanted to munch on those zinnias. Guess she is like the rabbits.

We were honored to craft gifts of solace this weekend. I love the creativity of working with the natural beauty God gives us. It is more gratifying when I know every stem was grown on this place he has put me.

I am here for a reason, and like the flowers, we each have a season. It brings me joy to showcase the blooms that are in their season. But more special, is the love that goes behind each floral request and the hope that the recipient feels cared for. Whatever season you find yourself in, I hope that you can find joy in the hope he promises.

The Palestine CEOs held their summer meeting at White Picket Farm LLC this evening. The group enjoyed a fresh Peasy lemonade delivered by Little Miss Picket.

At the conclusion of their business meeting they took a tour of the evolving “Ladies of White Picket Garden”. Each bed is being developed and dedicated to one of the four seasons.

We were happy to hear all of the positive feedback as we discussed the evolution of White Picket throughout our seasons of life.

It is best said in Ecclesiastes 3:1-8: "For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted...

We consider ourselves blessed to shift as life constantly offers new challenges. We are reminded that we can count on the consistency of God, he remains the same and ever present.
