We are El Paso strong!
Coke zero, waters, bananas, dog food, chicken noodle soup, frozen meals
This was my grocery list yesterday. So simple, something I would have done on my way home from work, something I would have done with my daughter just to get out of the house together. A place where I tune out my surroundings, do my thing, think and interact with my kiddo. Well, not anymore. I dreaded the trip, my daughter asked to join me and I declined. I walked into the store with tears in my eyes as I went down the first aisle. And couldn’t relax even with additional security at the door. To think that 22 people where killed doing something as simple as grocery shopping in my city makes me sick. I’m so angry and hurt. This evil man took away so much from so many of us. El Paso is strong and the heal will come, if you need a hug in the middle of the store, I got you. Because I probably need one too.
