The reality of being a small business owner.
This is a pretty photo for sort of an ugly post. I'm gonna be real:
I cannot tell you guys how much I need you to order flowers. I need Thanksgiving and Christmas flowers orders. I need workshop orders. Funeral orders. Just because orders. If you are planning to buy flowers for Thanksgiving or Christmas, please pre-order.
The Mechanic Street Mix-a-Palooza has been canceled - we just did not sell enough tickets to even remotely cover costs.
There are spaces left in our Thanksgiving workshop that need to be filled to cover the actual cost of the class, and the Christmas workshop will likely be canceled.
I have ordered flowers for our Farewell Party sort of as a leap (read enormous leap) of faith.
I am going to drop bouquets off at Five Forks this morning. Later today, I will launch spring bouquet subscriptions online. I am making wreaths later today hopefully too. I am trying everything, but I am exhausted.
I know my feed looks pretty, and it is easy to paint the picture of sucess in reels and photos, but I'm not up to it today. I know it's not a social norm to make a post like this, and maybe it isn't even okay. Maybe it is the most cringey thing I have ever done. But I am being real.
