Next week we will be holding our First Ever Paint the Market Pink Day for Breast Cancer Awareness October 11th on the East Haven Green from 8:30-1:30pm 🎀

This day was inspired by Jessica, daughter in law of Amelias’s Market owners Amelia and Ralph. Jessica is 34 years old and just rang her bell after finishing her last chemotherapy treatment for Stage One Breast Cancer.

Paint the Market Pink Day will include Pink or Breast Cancer Themed products by our vendors, giveaways, raffles, music, attendance by several breast cancer organizations including: Pink Aid, Sisters Journey, Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation and Yale New Haven Hospital Early Detection Program.

Many of our vendors and organizations will be accepting donations for one of the many organizations lists above as well as to Susan G Komen Foundation, Get in Touch Foundation, Jessica Iuliano and Jessica Holohan

So wear your pink, grab your family and friends and head on down to celebrate survivors and honor those who we have lost to breast cancer.

First 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ breast cancer survivors to stop at the market booth will receive a 🆓 Pink Carnation 🌸
