Pizza week! I can’t describe to you how much pizza has been in the building the last three days. By my estimation, the 60 odd students made around 115 pizzas, not including the demos. There was wood fired, hand stretched, and Detroit style. I loved being able to work with the wood fired pizza oven.

This week was all about cakes! The carrot cake gave me the most difficulty, because when I measured out the cream cheese for me (and 5 other people), I misread the recipe and only put 8oz in instead of 1 . That made the frosting really thick and hard to work with. No harm, but I’ll definitely be triple checking ingredients in the future!
