Hello to all my friends and bread lovers 🤍

I know I’ve been a little quiet lately on the baking side… and it’s because life has been beautifully busy supporting our girl’s journey and dreams. Between practices, games and all the travel that comes with it, our days have been full in the best way. ⚾️✨

Now that it’s official… the cat’s out of the bag we’re heading to NATIONALS!!! 🙌🏼 here’s a little story about her and her journey 💖

Did you know sourdough is one of the oldest forms of bread dating all the way back to biblical times? Long before commercial yeast bread was made the same simple way it is HERE with just flour, water and salt!

In Scripture bread was more than food… it was a symbol of provision and daily dependence on God. From daily bread to the breaking of bread in fellowship, it carried deep meaning just like it still does today!

Sourdough with its natural fermentation and patience reflects that same simplicity and intention! No shortcuts.. just time, care and love in the process.

On this Easter Sunday, it’s a beautiful reminder of both the physical and spiritual nourishment we’re given. 💛
