Happy Monday!
Last week, I had to make some hard decisions for the bakery, and the Lord was so kind to remind me of this verse:
“Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown You and say, ‘Who is the Lord?’ Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.” — Proverbs 30:8–9
This verse has been ministering to my heart all week. The desire to grow a business you’re passionate about can sometimes lead you into striving. What once brought you joy can slowly become a burden you were never meant to carry.
But praise the Lord for His loving mercy. He redirects our plans and gently reminds us that He has been faithfully giving us our daily bread all along—and that is enough.❤️🔥
There is such freedom in trusting that His provision is sufficient and that His ways are always better than our own.
