Agriculture isn’t just about growing food it’s about listening to the science of the soil, the rhythm of the seasons, and the quiet lessons the land teaches us. The smallest changes can bring the greatest harvest. I’m grateful to pass that knowledge on to the littles, planting seeds of curiosity that will grow long after the crops are gone.

Find our fresh produce at the Historic Lewes Farmers Market starting the first Saturday in May.”

Shout out to some dope women who dared to dream. From the writers to the photographer—every creative force behind it was a woman. That matters. To every woman farmer who helped guide me along this journey — this is our time. 🌱✨

And a special shout out to my mom. In the final months of her life, she reminded me of something I’ll carry forever: “putting your passion ahead of your career isn’t selfish… it’s overdue. “

Here’s to women who create, lead, and choose purpose on purpose.

Grateful beyond measure to have been recipients able to attend the PASA Conference this year. The wealth of knowledge gained will be put to good use. Organizations like the Historic Lewes Farmers Market are exactly why we continue doing what we love—building community through agriculture.

After weeks immersed in two agricultural conferences—PASA and Future Harvest—one truth is clear: real connection matters. Not the kind built for optics or career climbing, but the kind rooted in shared values, morals, and community.

The goal is simple - We, the people.

Some are outraged. Some already knew this feeling. And maybe that’s the point—to distract us from our power.

So get up. Read. Study. Protest if you must. Consume less. Turn anger into action. No one is coming to save us—but we can save each other.

Mend fences. Right wrongs. Log off. Learn something new. Grow something. Build together.

Let the distraction spark innovation and action

Apologies for the laying low—these past few weeks have been full. Between soil testing, conferences, and community events, our family has been moving with purpose. Even when we’re quiet, know that we’re deeply committed to this work and then some.

This is just a small look back at what we’ve been putting into motion behind the scenes. As always, stay rooted and grounded—and keep planning to plant seeds, both literal and not. 🌱
