Hi! I’m Rebekah. Owner and chef/baker at Two Bees Cafe + Patisserie. I’m originally from Dover but spent 10 years combined living in San Francisco and Boston. I recieved my culinary education in San Francisco and realized towards the end that I wanted to pursue baking and pastry. Since then I’ve worked my way up from a pastry cook to pastry chef and spent a year as a sous chef more locally . Now, I’m putting my business degree to good use and embarking on this crazy journey of becoming the owner of my dream cafe and patisserie (French translation = pastry shop). Our concept is French inspired and seasonally driven. Our menu will consist of morning snacks, pastries, tartines (open faced sandwiches) salads, sandwiches, snacks, and small plates. We will offer beer + wine, coffee, espresso and tea. We want to be downtown Dover’s favorite neighborhood gathering spot! Our location is pretty fantastic at 100 First St (we have a large river front patio)! We don’t have a set opening date yet but the ball in definitely in motion.
