🔥 NBBQA is growing, and we are excited to welcome two new team members to help us serve the barbecue and grilling community even better! 🔥

Please help us welcome **Aaron Beasley** and **Rylee Wright** to the NBBQA family.

Aaron Beasley has joined NBBQA as **Head of Business Development**, where he will focus on sponsorship development, strategic partnerships, industry outreach, and revenue growth opportunities for NBBQA and Barbecue News Magazine.

We are also excited to welcome Rylee Wright as our **Summer Communications Assistant**. Rylee will support communications, editorial projects, social media organization, research, digital content preparation, and contributor coordination for NBBQA, Barbecue News Magazine, and Future of Q.

As NBBQA continues to grow our education, membership, media platforms, youth initiatives, live fire experiences, and national partnerships, we are thankful to have Aaron and Rylee joining us in this season of growth.

The National Barbecue & Grilling Association joins the entire barbecue community in mourning the loss of Ty Joseph Machado.
Ty was one of the bright young lights in barbecue. Many first came to know him as a young pitmaster from Seguin, Texas, with a deep love for the craft, a respect for the people around him, and a passion for competition barbecue that inspired everyone who crossed his path.
Although his life ended far too soon, Ty’s impact will continue through the friends, competitors, families, and young cooks he encouraged along the way.
NBBQA believes strongly in supporting the future of barbecue, and Ty’s legacy is a reminder of why investing in youth barbecue matters. His family has established the Ty Machado BBQ Memorial to benefit youth barbecue events across the country, helping educate and inspire future generations of pitmasters.
