Something new is coming...

I started this business back in the fall of 2024. At the time, I was still in highschool, and I didn't really have a plan for what I wanted this business to become. I knew it was something that I enjoyed, but I had no idea what to expect from it.

Time has brought opportunities, however; and these opportunities have brought experience, connections, growth, and dreams of what could be.

I still don't know what the future holds, I don't believe anyone does. However, I now know what I'm hoping for--I know what I'm working towards--I know what I want this business to be. I hope to embrace opportunities for growth as they come, because despite the hard parts--the early mornings, the late nights, and all that happens in between--this is something I am, truly, passionate about.

All of this being said, I have something exciting to announce! Baked by Sara Jo, as of October 16th, 2026, will be officially supplying goods through a second location! I am working with the lovely team at the Garner Street Meat Market and BBQ, in Detroit, TX; and will be supplying fresh baked sourdough bread to the market on a weekly basis, starting Friday the 16th, 2026.

I greatly appreciate everyone who has supported me thus far, both those who have been cheering me on from the beginning, and those who have only discovered my business recently: thank you! And to the team at the Detroit Meat Market: thank you for trusting in my abilities and in my business!

I hope to post more about this new venture in the days and weeks to come! Stay tuned for updates!

Brown butter Choc. Chip Cookies 🧈🍪✨️

My most popular cookie! These tasty treats are made with toasty, nutty browned butter and a blend of semi-sweet and bittersweet chocolate chips (and, of course, a few secret ingredients that make these cookies truly special). They're baked juuuust until they're set, so they retain a lovely soft center; and are then finished with a light sprinkle of flaky sea salt for the perfect balance of flavors!

These cookies are made with my very own recipe, which I developed and perfected over the course of more than a year. They're my absolute favorite cookie on my menu, and I think you'll love them as well. ♡
