If you follow along on our Instagram feed, you’ve seen a few of these photos and heard the story behind them. (If not, go follow us!) Anyways, these were part of a 150 cookie set which celebrated the launch of the James Webb Space Telescope back in December. There were 18 gold hexagons to represent the 18 hexagons that make up the main mirror of the telescope (cookie versions were slightly smaller than the real deal 😉), Ariane 5 rockets, a representation of my favorite part of the telescope battery, and a few fillers like the circle space cookies and hexagons with JWST. This was a fun set that challenged me just enough to try some new techniques, and also allowed for creative freedom!
