Description
In 1985, the Aguirre family hosted its first free Thanksgiving Day Feast for Denver's needy families. In 2010 The community helped served over 5,000 Meals, This year we will be celebrating our 27th Annual Thanksgiving Day Feast for Denver's needy families. The Thanksgiving feast is an important tradition that our parents started and we, as their childr
en plan to carryout our parents’
legacy. "We at Rosa Linda's Mexican Café would like to notify those who are alone for the holidays, or in need, that on this day tummies should be full and hearts should not be alone. This is our way to thank our community for the support that we have had throughout the years." Volunteers will be delivering meals to the elderly, home bound, assisted living, and those who just can not make it. We will be serving shredded turkey, green chile, rice, beans, stuffing and desert. Ideas on how to help
Encourage your coworkers, friends, and family to start a food drive in their office, school, and neighborhood organization. Ask friends and family to contribute time or money to help provide for meals. Volunteers are urged to look around their neighborhood and surrounding area to make contact with somebody who may need a warm meal and a little company on Thanksgiving Day. Thank you again for helping us feed Denver’s needy families this holiday season! Sincerely,
Aguirre Family
