If you’ve noticed I’ve been a little MIA since early May, there’s a reason...
I had been working hard to build up my freezer stash, but between pregnancy brain, ADHD, and a lack of sleep, I completely forgot to actually freeze several batches of macarons. Unfortunately, they ended up as a mushy inedible mess (they look whole in the trash but one touch and they DISSOLVED). That was enough to make me step back for a bit and focus on my mental health.
I also had a few custom orders during that time that didn’t go quite as planned with temp and time, which made the break feel even more necessary. Sometimes the best thing you can do is take a step back, regroup, and come back refreshed.
All of that to say: I’m slowly making my way back😮💨
I’ll be at Walker’s big Fourth of July Market & Fireworks on July 4th, and I’m announcing it now so I can hold myself accountable and not talk myself out of it like I have with the last couple of events…that y’all didn’t even know about😅
I’d love for you to mark your calendars and come see us! In the meantime, tell me what macaron flavors you’d like to see at the market while I finally respond to my messages with vast “sorries”.
