I beat the odds ! I survived Sepsis!! 🙏🏼
Sepsis kills 1 in 3 people & is the 3rd leading cause in death in the US. Upon ever hour you don’t get medical treatment, mortality increases by more than 10% per hour. We’re not sure how long sepsis was set in, but by hour 12 of no medical treatment it turns fatal. I was SO CLOSE to going to bed and just going to see how I felt in the morning…had my mom not pushed the issue, this could be a very different post. LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!!! I DONT CARE WHAT ANY DOCTOR TELLS YOU!! YOU KNOW YOURSELF MORE THAN THEY DO.
My oldest son was by my side the whole time , he insisted on not leaving me. He helped me more than he will ever realize. Still recovering and fighting pneumonia but thankful to be here to recover and fight. The infection is officially out of my blood 🫶🏼 beyond thankful for my man, my mom, sisters & friends.
2024 is about health & not taking life for granted 😢 my boys need me!

My upper lobe of my lung has collapsed & I am currently septic 🙏🏼

Been fighting this pneumonia for 10 days 😭
fought the doctors office to get me in.
I get here and now they wanna hospitalize me 🥺
My airways are pretty closed , my blood pressure is so low they can’t get a reading & I’m severely dehydrated… They just gave me an injection.
So no, unfortunately I will NOT be doing ANY orders until after new years.
I’m so sorry, thank you for understanding in advance.
