I'm sadden to announce that I can no longer sell chicken salads or any meat products including my bacon cheddar ranch wafers & bacon cheddar beer bread! The meat division of the Department of Agriculture informed me my license does not cover any meat product. I thank each and everyone who purchased those products & hopefully one day I will have a local storefront & will be able to bring them back! But for now, please continue to enjoy my regular baked goods!

Oh my, the cakes look scrumptious! Some are too pretty to cut into, but I would have to I suppose :)
1 Million Dollar Red Velvet Cake recipe - I got this recipe about 40 years ago:
Cake:
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tbls cocoa
2 oz red food coloring
1 tps salt
1 cup buttermilk
2 1/2 cups regular flour (sifted)
1 tps baking soda
1 tps vanilla
1 tps vinegar
cream shortening, sugar and eggs
mix in cocoa and coloring together
add to creamed mixture
sift flour, measure and then sift with sale 3 or 4 times
add flour alternately with buttermilk
add vanilla
dissolve baking soda in vinegar and fold in batter
bake 2 9" pans 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes
Icing:
1 cup milk
3 tbls flour
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup crisco
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tps vanilla
cook milk and flour over medium heat stirring until thick, LET COOL
cream the butter, crisco and granulated sugar
add vanilla to creamed mixture and beat until creamy (about 5
minutes)
add COOLED flour/milk mixture and beat 5 minutes more
YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. your red velvet cheesecake brownies are the "BOMB"
