Real life of a Realtor who is also a mom. ❤️

Writing a handwritten thank-you note for a potential seller while sitting at a table covered in my 3-year-old’s art projects. Could I clean it first? Probably. Did I? Absolutely not. 😂

My clients still get handwritten notes because relationships matter.

And those scribbles at the top? Of course my favorite pen died halfway through the letter. Instead of getting up to find another one, I spent way too much time trying to make it work again. 🤦‍♀️✏️

Just a messy table, a tired mom, and a Realtor who genuinely cares about her clients. ❤️🏡

A home doesn’t have to be perfect to be valuable. ❤️
Some of the homes people apologize for the most end up being exactly what buyers are looking for.
People worry about:
outdated paint
old countertops
smaller bathrooms
toys everywhere
normal life stuff
Meanwhile buyers are seeing:
good layout
great location
character
potential
warmth
I think sellers are way harder on their homes than buyers are honestly.

Not your dream mansion.
Your actual realistic everyday wish 😂
Mine would probably be:
bigger pantry
mudroom
better laundry room storage
I swear half of real estate is just chasing better storage solutions.

Today is about more than cookouts, lake days, and long weekends. 🇺🇸
Remembering and honoring the men and women who gave their lives for our country and our freedom today. ❤️
Grateful for the sacrifices made by so many families.

Okay this might sound weird coming from a realtor…
But I actually think people should stay put sometimes. 😅
Not every move makes financial sense.
Not every “dream home” is worth the stress.
And sometimes your current house just needs a few changes instead of a for sale sign.
I’ll always be honest with people even if it means NOT moving right now.
I think more people appreciate honesty than sales pitches these days honestly.

One of the biggest mistakes sellers make is waiting until they’re 100% ready before talking to a realtor.
Honestly the BEST time to ask questions is BEFORE you’re ready.
Sometimes people just want to know:
what repairs actually matter
what their house could realistically sell for
how much equity they may have
what buying after selling would look like
No pressure. No commitment. Just a game plan.
That’s usually where the best moves start honestly.
