I want to be completely transparent with everyone who supports my business. If future sales do not improve over the next few months, I may be making the difficult decision to stop baking at the end of December.

This has been an ongoing decision that I have been prayerfully considering as I look toward the new year. Normally, my books would already be open for the following year, but at this time, I have chosen to keep them closed while I evaluate what is best for my business. I truly believe that God works miracles, but I also believe that sometimes He closes doors to make way for new opportunities and blessings.

Running a small business requires a significant investment of money, time, and effort. Between ingredients, supplies, event expenses, and the many hours spent preparing orders, it becomes difficult to continue when there is little to no return. This weekend alone, I prepared dozens of cupcakes, yet not a single dozen that was scheduled for pickup today was picked up. Unfortunately, last-minute cancellations and customers claiming items without following through have become increasingly common, and it is simply not sustainable for a small business.

I am incredibly grateful to every person who has supported my business, placed an order, shared my posts, attended an event, or recommended me to someone else. Your support truly means more than you know, and I appreciate each of you.

As I consider whether to continue into next year and renew my business certifications, LLC, and other expenses, the next 3–4 months will play a significant role in that decision. I remain hopeful and prayerful for what the future holds, and I thank you all for your continued support and understanding. ❤️

There’s a reason I hold 6 blue first place ribbons, there’s a reason you see my name tagged in so many posts, there’s a reason I was accepted into the ellijay GA apple festival after placing through rounds of judging. I may not be the cheapest but I promise you every order is made with care and my heart is put into it every single time. It takes so much patience and dedication to put into baking and events. What you don’t see behind the scenes is all of the anxious moments, a sink full of dishes after each batch needing washed, mistakes being made and batches being tossed and tears hitting the floor, there’s packaging and labeling and certificates and licensing, I’m also the social media manager, you name it I’m one single person that does it raising a 6 year old and missing out on opportunities to go out with friends and family but I love what I do and I’ve made a name for myself in this community. I love my community. Thank you for always supporting me 🩷
