Over the last few months, I’ve gained a couple hundred new friends (WOW!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻) so I wanted to take a minute to reintroduce myself and give y’all a little insight into why I do what I do. 🧁✨
My name is Jennifer, and I started this little baking adventure just over a year ago.
This little home bakery serves so many purposes for me and my family. First, it gives me a creative outlet and a way to serve my community through something I genuinely love. Second, it allows me to share the love of Christ with others. The name “The 3:23 Bakery” comes from Colossians 3:23: “Whatever you do, do it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.”
If I’m baking it, just know that the honor and glory go to Him first and foremost. Any gift I have is God-given, and I never want to take that for granted.
And lastly, this little bakery provides a third income for our family that helps support my youngest son’s travel baseball journey. This was never meant to be a get-rich-quick business. It was simply a way to help support a dream. He’ll be 13 soon and has big aspirations of becoming a Division I catcher and, one day, making it to the MLB.
So every time you purchase a cake, cupcakes, cookies, treats, or even a recipe, you’re doing so much more than supporting a small business. After expenses are paid, that profit goes directly toward baseball fees, team dues, uniforms, tournaments, and lessons.
One day, I want him to look back and know that we did everything we could to help him chase his dreams. And for every order, every share, every recommendation, and every bit of support along the way, I am incredibly grateful. Thank you for being part of this journey with us. 💕✨🫶🏻
