to a Mother’s Day that looked a little different this year. As a mompreneur, my default mode is always “go”. Balancing a business with raising a family means I’m so used to putting everyone else first, and it’s incredibly easy to forget that we deserve celebrating too. 🫂❤️

But this year, I made a conscious choice to completely slow down. I went totally off the grid. No work mode, no rushing, and no constantly checking my phone. Instead, I chose to just be. We checked into the Embassy Suites Love Field, enjoyed some live music, and simply spent uninterrupted quality time together taking in those gorgeous, peaceful views. 🏨🌲

When my kids handed me their handmade letters and little gifts, my heart just melted. Honestly, those small, still moments meant absolutely everything to me. 🥹

It was such a powerful reminder that resting and receiving love shouldn’t feel like a reward we have to earn first. I walked away telling myself that I want to make this a tradition every single year now, because no matter how busy life gets, these are the exact moments I want to remember forever! 💖

To every mom out there building a business while taking care of everyone else, please don’t forget yourself too. You can’t pour from an empty cup, and you deserve that recharge.

Running a business is a whirlwind, but being a mompreneur means my “board of directors” sometimes includes a very creative stylist, my daughter, Rain! 👗😆

Fun fact: she actually picked out this entire outfit for me! From the floral top down to the headpiece, she was the one putting everything together to make sure I was “camera ready” for the kitchen. 🌸👑

I might be the boss of the oven, but she’s definitely the boss of my closet! Between playing dress-up with Rain and wrestling with my rolling pin, life is a beautiful, flour-covered juggling act.

I honestly feel like I’ve been whipped into shape by this schedule more than I’ve whipped the dough! It’s a lot of work to balance the business with being a mom, but I wouldn’t trade these messy, stylish BTS moments for anything. ❤️
