East Texas Celtic fest yesterday ----we had a good crowd and the people were enjoying themselves. The ones that I talked to were enjoying the shows the food vendors were busy
(There's Cajun food across from me
We ate catfish and jambalaya YUM)
Vendors were happy. The highland games were fun. I got to see some of it but couldn't be away from my booth long.
Was it hot --yes---its June in Texas.
There is lots of shade. I'm almost 75 and made the day still smiling.

So today was the opening of East Texas Celtic fest in Hawkins and we had a good time out here. Y'all need to come on out tomorrow and Sunday. 3 stages, vendors with hand made merchandise, lots of shade, I ate some great food, best lemonade, coffee concession, ice cream, highland games, axe throwing, knife throwing,archery,bagpiper, and of course your favorite " friendly neighborhood Leatherman". All here for your fun and enjoyment. I'm loving these new grounds. I already know I'll be back next year. Y'all come see for yourselves.
