Good morning & Happy Sunday! I made this 4 years ago, as I taught this for my wedding cake class. I have something super special up my sleeve for my wedding class in Charlotte this May. Just not sure anyone is ready because it’s definitely different!

For those in my IG Lives asking me about how to ship baked good, I always say I CANNOT ship outside of Texas but can ship only within Texas as a home baker. This is the state law. Know what you can and cannot do in your state. Each state is different. Some of y’all just listen to anybody on these platforms and they aren’t even in compliance. There is such a thing as each state has different cottage laws.
Two years ago I had the opportunity of making this beautiful cake for a gorgeous couple. Still my fav.

For all those interested in classes, please know the only classes that are not beginners are my classes in Charlotte, NC and Atlanta that are on the website to sign up and are two days long.
The other locations are beginner courses. You don’t need experience as it’s in a very small setting for hands on learning with me.
Classes will be up in two weeks on the website. If you want a specific payment plan for any location then email me please before they go public and sell out. I’m only taking 5-6 students per location.
All classes include supplies and lunch from 10am-4pm at $375.
Don’t forget about your Facebook business page. I use to not post on here thinking it didn’t matter, but it does! No matter what, keep posting because someone is always looking. Trust me!

It took me 4.5 hours to wrap bottles, pack and print labels and fill the bags to ensure I stood by my word that these would get out this Friday and Saturday from my presale post. 200 plus orders out!!! I really try to not disappoint my customers. I ship when I say I am. For those that didn’t order lush berry, your flavors went out even earlier and you should have them by Saturday if not sonner. I’m so proud of myself because yesterday and today were my first big orders to get out on my own since I took them on from the warehouse. It may not seem like much but this box is deep. Yesterday I had 3 big trash bag full of orders. This year is about me learning my strength that I thought I lost. But it’s coming back like these exes trying too…😂😂😂

Timing is everything! Stop comparing your journey to others when you haven’t walked the same path. I’ve been making cakes for 18 years this year. My work isn’t perfect, but I am always a work in progress. Take your time to learn, get better and stop rushing the process. Be yourself, be genuine and be about creating your style of work so it’s noticeable without being in the room. It’s okay to not be where you want to be just yet. That’s why it’s called a journey. You have to travel along with the rivers, hike up valleys and get hit by bumps in the road so you have an inspiring story to tell.
Ms.Lucille said she prefers being 90! I was honored to meet her this evening. I never get to take pics with my clients. To start my year off making a cake for this beautiful soul was a way to kick off 2023. Plus word on the street was that my cake was delicious. One layer was my Cake Batter flavor and the other layer was my Lemon Drop. Thank you for allowing me to be apart of this monumental moment for your family!!!

Another “Light Skin” cookie request! Get your Key Lime and Cake Batter flavoring elixirs on the website, link in bio!Ingredients: -2 1/4 cups all purpose flour measured correctly-1 teaspoon baking soda-1/2 teaspoon salt-1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened (vegan butter works too)-3/4 cup brown sugar packed1/4 cup granulated sugar-3.4 ounces French vanilla instant pudding mix or any flavor that compliments your cookie flavor of choice!-2 large eggs-1 teaspoon of my Cake Batter flavoring elixir -2 cups semi-sweet chocolate or white chocolate chips (optional) Instructions:Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt and set aside.Using a stand or electric mixer, beat the butter and sugar on high speed until light and creamy, at least 3 minutes. Do not skip this step. Once combined, add the pudding mix, vanilla and eggs and beat on high for 2-3 minutes.Slowly add half of the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and turn the mixer on low to start so the flour doesn’t get everywhere. Turn the mixer up to high and mix until combined. Add the rest of the dry ingredients and repeat until dough is just combined. Add chocolate chips and stir with a rubber spatula until incorporated.Drop cookies by 1/4 cup onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until slightly golden and just set on the top. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for two minutes then transfer to a baking rack to cool completely.
We had a great time yesterday at my @porsha.kimble X @lorannglobal event. We played games, did a taste test with my “buttercream bar” with both companies flavors. The conversation was phenomenal about business while having amazing food. Our drinks had lush berry mixed in, along with pancake flavors from both companies that included lemon, red velvet, lush berry and cream cheese. Everyone brought desserts made with both companies flavors and we were able to connect about business and form a new dessert group in the DFW. The time went by so fast we didn’t realize it was time to go home! Thank you to @lorannglobal for supporting and trusting me with this first time event. To @boulevard.events for making the space amazingly beautiful and chatting with us about what planners look for when choosing a cake/dessert vendor. Thank you to everyone that came and I can’t wait to meet up again!
