There’s something so special about having the whole family together. 🤍

From maternity to newborn. 🤍

I loved getting to photograph this sweet family during their maternity session and then again in their home for their first baby’s newborn session in McKinney, Texas.

Welcome to the world, sweet baby! 🤍

This beautiful newborn photography session in Plano, Texas was extra special because this little one was joining a family of six as their fourth baby. 🥹

For a larger family like this, I recommended booking more than an hour, and it made such a difference. With a newborn, three older siblings, and all of the family combinations we wanted to capture, having extra time allowed us to slow down and get all of those meaningful images without feeling rushed.

We photographed this session at Twilight House Studio in Plano, and I absolutely loved the soft, neutral aesthetic. Beautiful light, creamy tones, a gorgeous master bed, and even a client closet for Mom made it such a wonderful space for newborn photos.

Studio newborn sessions are also perfect for families who don’t want to worry about cleaning their house before their photographer arrives. You simply show up, love on your baby, and let me take care of the rest. 🤍

There is just something so beautiful about a maternity session at the Dallas Arboretum. 🤍🌿

The gardens, flowers, water, open fields, and endless variety of backdrops make it one of my favorite locations for Dallas maternity photography.

For this summer session, we started right when the Arboretum opened at 9 a.m., which meant cooler temperatures and—most importantly—far fewer crowds. When you are pregnant in the Texas summer, that can make SUCH a difference!

I love that we can move throughout the gardens and create so many different looks in one session. And that beautiful morning light?! Absolutely worth it. ✨

Today is officially BACK-TO-SCHOOL DAY for my babies! 🥹📚✏️

And while my kids are excited, this mama is feeling ALL the feelings.

My son actually started first grade a few weeks ago, and I will be completely honest… I had a really hard time with it. There were A LOT of tears. It hit me that my baby was officially old enough for “big kid school,” and I just wasn’t ready for how quickly these years are moving. 😭

Now that my other kiddos are starting school today, I am holding onto these little moments even tighter.

This is exactly why I love back-to-school photography so much. These pictures capture more than a cute outfit or a fun setup. They capture who your child is RIGHT NOW—their personality, their little expressions, how tiny they still are, and the excitement of starting another school year.
I especially love doing these sessions at Lemon Drop Studios in McKinney, Texas because the colorful sets make them so much fun for kids! They feel less like a traditional photo session and more like an experience, which means I usually get the sweetest smiles and genuine expressions. 💕
