Sisters, Sarah + Natalie Knowlton, are the founders of WE THE BIRDS — a lifestyle brand and luxury French macaron bakery. We grew up all over the world, moving over 17 times and living in many countries including: Singapore, Australia, Venezuela, France and of course, the US of A. We were in constant "flight" and at some point, we started referring to ourselves as “birds”. We have formed the belief that we, the people, connect with one another by celebrating the differences that make each of us unique and we relate to one another through the universal human experience— same but different, we are all "birds of a feather." In 2015, Natalie joined Sarah in Dallas, TX where we set down digital roots by founding WE THE BIRDS inspired by a shared love of fashion, design, travel and French macarons. What started as a creative outlet for two sisters to merge their interests, has blossomed into a multi-faceted business. Sarah’s professional background (with industry experience in fashion, design, & photography) combined with Natalie’s culinary prowess and professional business experience sets us apart from our competitors and makes us a uniquely dynamic duo. We specialize in creating high-quality visual content and leveraging our reach to promote a carefully curated selection of partners. As influencers, we offer our partners the ability to market their products on our platform(s) by activating our established reach and dedicated following. Additionally, WE THE BIRDS is unique amongst our competition in that we produce all content in-house— we have cultivated and trained a small team of creative producers which allows us to offer services akin to those of a boutique creative agency. WELL that’s how we met Erin (.fineline.aesthetics) yearsss ago— she was actually the first injector to ever give us botox! Erin has always stood out to us as one of the best in DFW... so we’ve always had our eye on her 👀 Fast-forward— Erin has opened her own in and we couldn’t be more excited for her! from : visiting the medieval town of was one of our favorite stops. We arrived at dusk and felt as if we were the only people there, walking the stone and brick streets, in awe of the seemingly untouched 13th-century walls surrounding the hill top village. We had an incredible meal with the most majestic panoramic view of at sunset. visiting San Gimignano (evenings there are the best)! Start with a cocktail then dinner 👌

from : We made ourselves right at home in Italy for our honeymoon. Staying at the beautiful villa was one of the best parts about our trip. Being able to just “live” there for a week - visit the local markets, cook breakfast and dinner, take a dip in the pool, go for long walks, and sip wine allowed us to experience the natural beauty of Italy and soak in our time together in this magical place.

: I couldn’t be more excited or ready to marry this man 😍! Also, : I had delusional expectations for what involved. It’s been shockingly overwhelming. (All past brides must be nodding!) Why wasn’t I even remotely prepared for this?! Even with my “intentionally simple” vision, the to-do list has felt like a massive, ever-growing giant weighing me down. I finally have all my vendors in place (lol at least I think) and just want to commend all the people who step in to support (moms, friends, sisters, planners, fiancés) bc it’s too much 😂. To all the unbelievably talented out there, I have MAD RESPECT for you. I cannot wait to have our incredible planner step in the month-of our wedding. Beautiful day spent out in nature with my bestie 🌞🌿🌼🤱🏼 I went back and forth about posting some of these pics but they are just very authentic to my experience… before having Willa, I didn’t understand how truly magical (and convenient) is— in fact, I actually thought it would be a hassle and I told myself I’d only commit to 3 months [if I could— I’ve always keenly been aware that breastfeeding doesn’t go as planned for all women and I really had no idea what to expect for myself]… but here I am, 7 months in, sitting in field feeding my from my own body 😱 it’s kind of like having a superpower!
.
My so far has really been centered around leaning into my instincts and relying on what comes naturally to me… and I’m constantly amazed by how natural is… it’s something I honestly didn’t know I had in me but here I am doing the dang thing 💪🏻 and by the way, mothers are !!! Thanks for reading this little steam of consciousness 😊

The owner was so friendly and had the best recommendations - I got the Cinnamon Dolce Latte w/ Oat Milk and OMG... heaven in a cup☕️ All the syrups are made in-house aka the flavors are incredible🙌🏼 I also snagged some Mexican Chocolate & Eggnog Cold Brew to try later!
