My name is Bre, and I make the mugs you sip your hand-pressed (but probably Folgers) coffee from, the bowls that help you feed your kids (soap when they deserve it), and the planters that bring life to your home. I wanted to do something different with my life. After completing my associate's degree, I took a step back and took a look at my future and realized that there were so many things that I had never experienced. So I decided to begin on a journey of pursuit of creative fulfillment and I discovered pottery. I found that, as difficult and tedious as it can be, I have never found a task that takes my mind away from the worries of life like being so focused on shaping and creating with my hands. It's a relief that I look forward to when I can't get my hands on it. To hatch a piece of the earth into something, that anyone can use to share a meal with their family, or enjoy a drink with their favorite person, or plant a seed to begin a new life...
That is where I found purpose.
That is Hatch & Clay.
