Hi, I’m Rachel! Welcome to Simply Sourdough of DC! 🥖 What started as a fun hobby has tranformed into a sourdough microbakery that I run out of my home!

Pick up will be Wednesday, May 6th from 4:30-6:30pm on the bread cart.

It’s baby month!!! This is my last bake day until July. (Sourdough can be frozen up 3 months so stock up now! See my tips and tricks post for more information!)

When I return to baking, I will start with bringing back my cookies while easing into bread. You will be able to find me set up at the Dallas Center Farmers Market. I am also in charge of running the market so if you have any questions please reach out! 🥰

BREAD CART UPDATE!!!!

With the arrival of our newest family member in May, my last bread cart pick up will be Wednesday, May 6th. I am still running the Dallas Center Farmers Market and plan to return as a vendor tentatively in July! If you are wanting bread now is your time to stock up and freeze! I am going to post freezing recommendations below along with my bread tips and tricks!

(Orders for next week’s pick up will open Sunday.)

The cart is out! It hasn’t been this full in a long time! There are extras of regular, cinnamon sugar and jalapeno cheddar. So if you forgot to order feel free to stop by and grab one. All extras are on the BOTTOM shelf.
