We lost our mom a year ago, on October 13th.
She was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer in April 2025. Unfortunately, ovarian cancer is sneakier than some other cancers; early symptoms are overlooked or attributed to other health issues. In fact, she was in the hospital to have a valve in her heart replaced when they found the cancer. Things happened so fast, and a lot of last year feels like a blur.
In honor of our mom, we are having a bake sale/cookie pop-up! Stop by and buy a cookie or two. All proceeds will be donated to Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance, a leading non-government funder dedicated to find a cure for ovarian cancer, as well as improving treatments and outcomes of patients.
Cookies will be $3 per cookie! Time and address will be shared at a later date, so stay tuned!
