Holy Rolls

Holy Rolls My mom's family name is Holy. I'm preserving their buns ;) I loved my great grandma's home made kolaches.

I was in awe of her as she measured nothing and created these delicious treats by memory without a recipe. She could quote other town bakers who did things differently, but she would tell me her way had a better result. When I was older, I was smart enough to help her and jot down what she did. I can still hear her laugh, say my name and tell me she loved me.
