Memorial Day through the eyes of our 4-year-old 🇺🇸

Me: “Memorial Day is when we remember the men & women in the Military who died for us.”

Micah: “I don’t know ANY of those people.”

And honestly…that’s the point.
So many gave everything for people they’d never meet — future generations they’d never know.

Today we remember and honor those heroes and the families who carry their loss every day. ❤️🤍💙

Last night we had the joy of sharing our little bakery at the Cridersville Library!

We shared our story, what it means to be a cottage baker in Ohio, sampled four cakes (raspberry lemonade, s’mores, vanilla latte, and salted caramel), and the ladies all got to decorate their own cake to take home (I’m ready to hire a few of them!).

We had a wonderful group of ladies join us & we cannot thank Ms. Linda enough for organizing this and asking us to come in! 😊

🎉 It’s our ONE YEAR anniversary🎉

A year ago today, we launched our little bakery as a hobby with a handful of orders and a lot of buttercream. Somehow, by God’s grace (and your incredible support), we’ve gone from “just a few orders” to “okay wait…we need to scale back a little” 😅

Over the past year, we’ve perfected our cake + buttercream recipes, leaned into more beautiful decorating, and grown from our mini cakes into square cakes, cupcakes, and cake jars too.

We are so, so thankful for every order placed, every kind word shared, and every person who’s cheered us on along the way. You’ve made this first year sweeter than we ever imagined 🤍
