Thank you all so much for the love and support you’ve shown me through Cakes by Cort. Being able to create cakes for so many of my friends, family, and customers has meant more to me than I can put into words. It gave me a creative outlet during a time when I truly needed one, and I’ll always be grateful for that.

Over the next two weeks, I’ll be making my final two cakes before I begin an exciting new chapter. I’ll be starting a new job as well as working toward earning my dental assisting certificate, so I’ve made the difficult decision to stop taking cake orders.

This definitely wasn’t an easy decision, but I’m so excited for what’s ahead. Thank you to everyone who trusted me to be a small part of your birthdays, weddings, get togethers, and all the special moments. Thank you all for your support!

Experimented with some cookies for some family tomorrow (key word, experimenting, that’s why they’re in a cake box😆) I also got to finish the star cake for my wonderful friend and her family which I’ll post tomorrow so I don’t spoil the surprise for them🤫😁

Made some cake pops today;
I don’t currently possess all I need for those because I like to limit myself to what I know I can do for now so I don’t overwhelm myself, however I wanted to make something cool for Jameson and I had the wafers.
It reminds me of what my Nana makes for Christmas, “Reindeer poop”!
Super yummy as my little helper said, and I think with the right tools and time, I can make them cutesy!
The stars are bite sized (2 bites for Jameson lol) and the round ones are the size of an Oreo!
