Exactly one year ago today I opened my sourdough to the public… I have enjoyed every second of it, and I want to thank you all for the love and the support.

Unfortunately for CRUMB, my professional career has taken some exciting turns this past year, leaving me with less and less time to fulfill my bread commitments. That is why with a heavy heart I am announcing that I will not be selling bread regularly at Cream ‘n Sugar or God’s Country Creamery. Next week will be my final week for fresh loaves at these small businesses.

The good news is I will still be providing Cream ‘n Sugar their sourdough for their sandwich specials. I will still be baking, it will just be a little more random. I am also hoping this provides me some time to experiment with some new products.

So stay tuned for all things Sourdough!

Visiting family in Kentucky last week, I was able to check out a water powered grain mill that has been running since 1865. I brought back some Kentucky wheat, freshly milled! You don’t want to miss this weeks batch!
