My bestie Ashley with Gathered Kitchen and I have officially stocked a little corner of Uniquely Yours Treasures with some of our favorite baked goodies!

She’s bringing her incredible specialty loaf cakes, and I’m bringing the Carb Cottage sourdough goodness - sourdough loaves, pumpkin butterscotch, garlic & herb focaccia, cinnamon rolls, mini loaf boxes and more!

AND…this is the ONLY place you can snag individual Carb Cottage mini loaves! 🙌🏼 So if you’ve been wanting to try a flavor without committing to a whole loaf (or you just need a little treat while you shop 👀), this is your spot.

CARB COTTAGE IS BACK 🍂🍞

After a little three-week baking break, I’m back! And since it’s officially October, obviously we’re leaning into FALL. 🤎

This week’s menu:

🍂 Fall Mini Loaf Box — $25
Four mini sourdough loaves:
• Chocolate Chip
• Pumpkin Butterscotch
• Everything Bagel
• Garlic & Herb

🎃 NEW Pumpkin Butterscotch Sourdough — $15
Pumpkin baked right into the dough with plenty of butterscotch goodness. One of my absolute favorite fall loaves!

🧄 NEW! Garlic & Herb Focaccia — $15
Fluffy sourdough focaccia loaded with garlic, herbs and olive oil. I tested this one today and Y’ALL. She made the menu immediately. 😂

🤎 Sourdough Cinnamon Rolls — $18/half dozen
They’re back. Because I’m pretty sure there would be a revolt otherwise.

🥪 Sourdough Sandwich Bread — $12

Quantities are LIMITED this week! I’m trying something new and putting firm caps on each item so I can keep Carb Cottage fun, fresh and manageable alongside regular life.

Hey sweet friends! Thank you so much for being patient with me! September is always a doozy of a month and sometimes when you juggle a lot of responsibilities you go through seasons where you have to determine which things you’re juggling are glass and which are plastic. (Thanks to Nora Roberts for that reminder).

I’m taking one more week off from taking orders BUT get ready…. The first full week of October I’ve got a surprise for you that me and my bestie Ash over at Gathered Kitchen have been cooking up!

A few teasers: mini loaves will be back, cinnamon rolls will be back and I’ll have a new flavor you’ve never tried before!! 🤩

Thanks again for your patience…and here’s your reminder to let the plastic things drop if you need to - you can pick them right back up when you’ve got the margin again! 🫶🏻

📣 CARB CALL! 🍞

I thoroughly enjoyed a long Labor Day weekend with my family… but I KNOW y’all need your carb fix. 😂🫶🏻

We’re doing Thursday + Friday pickups only this week! Sourdough takes its sweet time, and after a few days off, my starter needs a little extra time to get back to doing her thing. And around here, we’re not rushing good bread. 👏🏻

Woah. 😳 I don’t think I’ve had a baking week this busy in a LONG time…and I didn’t even offer cinnamon rolls! 😂

You guys, I’m constantly amazed by and grateful for the way you support this little hobby-turned-business of mine.

This week I went through 70 pounds of flour. SEVENTY. POUNDS. 😳 Had a little scare with my nearly 100-year-old mixer. Had a few duds that had to be tossed and completely remade. 🫣 And did a whole lot of letting go of perfection because sourdough has VERY strong feelings about Texas weather changes. 😂

But somewhere in the middle of all that flour and chaos, I kept thinking about how much I love this little thing I get to do.

Flour, water and salt are such simple things. But with a little time, effort and attention, they become something more.

They become a loaf of bread dropped off for a family with a brand-new baby. The perfect French toast before school. A late-night snack alongside a really good conversation. A sandwich tucked into a lunchbox.

However your Carb Cottage goodies made their way into your week, I’m just grateful I got to make a tiny piece of it. 🫶🏻

Next week I’m giving myself a little breather with a more streamlined menu while I start playing with some new FALL flavors. 🍂 And don’t worry…sandwich bread isn’t going anywhere. 😂

I’m also thinking it might be time to bring back some artisan round loaves… 👀 What do we think??

Thanks for another really, really great week, friends. You keep ordering, and somehow I’ll keep finding places to put 70 pounds of flour. 😂🤍

Wondering the difference between regular sourdough and sandwich bread?!? Why does one have an ear/score mark and one doesn’t? Why are they different textures?? Here are the details!! Hopefully this helps as you order 🫶🏻

Back-to-school schedules are in full swing, and so are the carbs! 🙌🏻🍞 AND we are back to Midweek pickup at the Northside fellowship meal for my church fam!! Woo hoo!!
