The State Fair results are in! 🎡

I got my judging sheet back for the brownies I entered this year, and they earned a 91/100!

The judge called out the beautiful texture and appearance, with nearly perfect scores in both categories. Apparently my homework for next year is to get a little more creative — challenge accepted!

Order Spotlight! 🐙🎂

This one came straight from the birthday girl’s imagination! She drew exactly what she wanted for her octopus cookies, and I got to turn her idea into something sweet. I love getting to bring custom requests like this to life!

Happy Birthday! 🥳

Fall baking is officially here! 🍎🍂

Don’t forget, I do more than cookies! Sourdough is always a favorite, and this Apple Cinnamon Sourdough is the perfect loaf for cooler fall days. Fresh apples and warm cinnamon baked right into a homemade sourdough loaf. 🤎

🎡 The answer to last week’s sneak peek is here!

I’m excited to share that I’ll be submitting royal icing sugar cookies AND brownies for judging at the Minnesota State Fair! The cookie theme is Exploring the Galaxy 🚀🌙

Here’s a little look at the planning process that goes into creating a custom set before the icing even starts. Stay tuned to see the finished cookies and how everything turns out!
