It’s been a little while since I’ve made mini pies, and I forgot just how much fun they are to make! I was really happy with how these turned out, especially the mini pecan pies, which I’ve been wanting to make for quite some time.

There’s something special about getting back to making something you love and enjoying the little details that go into it. These were definitely a fun little baking project, and I’m glad I got the chance to make them before taking some time away from the kitchen.

Baking has been such a big part of my life, and even as I step away for a little while, I know it will always be something I love. I’m looking forward to what the future holds and to getting back to creating more delicious treats when the time is right.

A little announcement from Cool Breeze Pastries

I have been given an incredible opportunity to spend the next six months in Georgia working as a pastry chef, so Cool Breeze Pastries will be taking a temporary pause while I step into this new chapter.

This was not an easy decision, especially after everything I’ve worked so hard to build with this little bakery. But sometimes life brings you an opportunity that you just have to take, even when it means stepping away for a little while.

Cool Breeze Pastries is not going anywhere. ❤️

I’ll be returning next year and will be bringing all of the experiences, inspiration and new ideas from this adventure back into the kitchen with me.

To everyone who has ordered from me, supported my small business, shared my posts, stopped by my booth, tried my cinnamon rolls, encouraged me, or simply followed along with this journey, thank you. You have been a huge part of helping Cool Breeze Pastries become what it is today, and I am so incredibly grateful.

This isn’t goodbye.

It’s simply see you next year. ❤️

The ovens have been busy here at Cool Breeze Pastries as I get ready for the Renaissance Fair! 🔥

I’ve been in the kitchen baking, testing, and perfecting these special Renaissance-inspired cinnamon rolls for the event:

🍒 Cherry Almond Cobbler
🍑 Golden Apricot Cobbler

These flavors were created especially for the Renaissance Fair, and I’ve been baking them in the kitchen to get everything just right before the big event.

I’ll be bringing these special cinnamon rolls to the Renaissance Fair in Georgetown this Saturday, and each flavor has been created specifically to fit the theme, inspired by fruits and ingredients that would have been enjoyed during the Renaissance era.

I’ve been BUSY in the kitchen these past few days!
From being at the Coloma Farmers Market on Tuesday, where I SOLD OUT, to turning right around and prepping for tonight’s Cool Community Market, I’ve been slinging cinnamon rolls left and right like a busy little bee!

And honestly, I couldn’t be happier with how far I’ve come with my cinnamon rolls. I’ve been determined to create a roll that is soft, fluffy, and melts in your mouth with every bite, and I can finally say I’ve got my recipe down to a T!

Now I get to have even more fun creating all these incredible flavors, and let me tell you, they are GOOD!

From the Blueberry Oatmeal Cookie, to a fall classic with a twist, Pumpkin Spice Cookie, Peach Cobbler, Triple Berry Cobbler, and Orange Pecan Cinnamon Rolls, there’s something for everyone to try.
I’ve been putting so much time, love, and creativity into these rolls, and seeing people enjoy them makes all those long hours in the kitchen worth it.
