🍂🎃 A little fall baking adventure! 🎃🍂

I’ll be honest, turning a sourdough loaf into a pumpkin shape seemed a little intimidating at first! Between kitchen string, the decorative scoring, and hoping everything would come together the way I pictured it, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. 😂

After lots of testing, tweaking, baking, and definitely taste-testing, I can finally say it…
The cinnamon rolls are ready! 🤎
I wanted to create a cinnamon roll that was incredibly soft, buttery, and packed with warm cinnamon flavor without being overly sweet. After the final round of testing, I decided on a light, smooth icing instead of a traditional frosting. It gives them just the right amount of sweetness while letting all that cozy cinnamon flavor shine through. 🥰
And now I’m so excited to share that these will be making their way onto the LOAVES & DOUGH menu this fall! 🍁
There’s just something about a warm cinnamon roll, a cup of coffee, and a crisp fall morning that feels like home. ☕️🍂

I’m SO excited to be part of the Oktoberfest & Fall Festival this Saturday, September 19th, in Grand Terrace! 🍁🍺
And yes… the sourdough pretzels are coming! 🥨❤️
I’ll be bringing my German-style sourdough pretzels, made with a long cold fermentation and finished with a food-grade lye bath for that classic pretzel flavor, chewy texture, and beautiful dark crust. ✨
Of course, I’ll also have lots of your favorite sourdough goodies from LOAVES AND DOUGH! 🍞🤎

There’s nothing better than finishing up all the morning dough mixing and rewarding myself with my favorite sweet treat 🤍🍪 My Sourdough Oatmeal Cream Pie Cookies are always the first thing I make sure to set aside after a bake because if you know, you know. 😂
These cookies are soft, chewy, and filled with the dreamiest marshmallow buttercream that brings everything together perfectly. After a busy morning of flour, starters, and dough, this little treat is the perfect reward.
Out of everything I make, these have to be my personal favorite… and I’m always making sure I save a few for myself before they disappear. 🤭
