I just had too many WIPs on my needles to participate in the Halibut KAL by , but I really wanted to knit it. I cast on at the end of February and, despite the fact that it is now officially Spring 💐 with limited opportunity to wear it, I am looking forward to next fall 🍂 and having this beauty ready to wear!😍

Pattern is Halibut by Caitlin Hunter. Yarn is Purl Soho Knitting Yarn in North Sea and Birch Bark.

Two more sweaters off the needles!

The first sweater is the Kerr Sweater by Rebecca Clow. I knit this colorwork sweater using low-contrast colors Sandpiper Brown and Acorn Brown in Purl Soho Knitting Yarn.

The second sweater I finished just in time for spring. It is the Suri Shirt by Caidree using Purl Soho Linen Quill in Chestnut Red.

It's been a while since I've posted any makes, mostly because I am not a monogamous knitter. Since I work on multiple projects, it takes longer to finish one, but when I do, they all start coming off the needles pretty quickly! This week I finished two sweaters!

The orange one is my first Ranunculus using a kit from Sonder Yarn. I used Grace and Haze held together in the colorway Perfectly Burnt.

The grey one is a free pattern from Drops called the Pixel Pullover. I used Drops Air in Medium Grey and Black.

Both sweaters are knit top down and are fluffy and super soft!

Our family celebrated Christmas yesterday as our older "kids" flew in from various parts of the world to be with us. I didn't want to post my knitted gifts until after they were gifted so as not to ruin the surprise. These are two Peterswell Mitts knit in Purl Soho's Knitting Yarn in Blue Whale and Sandpiper Brown.

Finished my for the just in time!🤗 I used Purl Soho's Knitting Yarn, 100% Merino Wool in Wild Mulberry. Love this hat!❤

This year I was lucky to be able to go to Rhinebeck with an enthusiastic fellow knitter, , for the whole weekend experience plus Cake Palooza! I had the good fortune to meet one of my favorite knitwear designers, Caitlin Hunter (Boyland Knitworks)! I just happened to be wearing my Zweig sweater that day and carrying my Ninilchik Swoncho. She was very sweet and I enjoyed chatting with her. 🤗

I LOVE knitting socks with self-striping yarn! They seem to knit up so quickly! I'm already working on the leg of the first sock and it's only been a few days. I've misplaced the tag so sorry I can't share the dyer's name.

My latest FO-- the Hipster Shawl by Joji Locatelli. I knit this in Loop Fiber Studio YIN YANG in Yin. This is a worsted weight yarn, so it's nice and squishy and feels nice around my neck. 😊

I'm ready for fall!🍁🍂

Hubby finally tried on his Moby Sweater. It fits perfectly!🤗🥳

I finally finished the Moby Sweater (Men's) by PetiteKnit for hubby. I had planned for him to wear it when we were in Alaska in late July, but realized I did not have the right needle size for the collar. 😖

I did find a yarn shop at our first stop in Sitka, but the temps were surprisingly in the 80's the whole trip. I put the project on hold and finished it this week during a cool spell here in Colorado.

The collar looked really small, so I tried it on and it fits comfortably close to the neck just the way he likes it. 😊

The photos are front and back, pre-blocked. Yarn is Blue Sky Fibers Skyland, a luscious DK weight wool, alpaca and silk blend in the colorway Night Fall.

It's the first day of September (already?🤯) so naturally I had to cast on a new project. 😉 😁

I knit a lot of fingering-weight projects so I'm always amazed how quickly DK and worsted-weight projects work up when I knit them.

This is the Hipster Shawl by Joji Locatelli knit with Yin Yang yarn in the colorway Yin.

Finally finished my two-at-a-time, toe-up socks! According to my Ravelry project page, I've been working on these for 6 months!

They haven't been at the top of my to-do list because they're for me. I've got a sweater gift for hubby I've been spending most of my time on.

Still, it's nice to have something off the needles.😊

Yarn is Retrosaria Mondim with Garnstudio DROPS Fabel for heels and toes.
