Thank you Rocky Mountain Team 6 for your hard work in keeping our community safe! So many homes have been devastated in our area. Our hearts are with those who lost their homes.
TT&S continues to be closed during this time of rebuilding within the community. Although our own personal loss is close to none (the fire burned across the street and a hotspot team put out a bush that caught on fire on our property and saved our home/business) issues like potential smoke damage, limb removal, proper fridge sanitation, etc., takes time while balancing regular family life along with prior existing health needs after brain surgery. Please reach out if you have any questions or would like to connect with a recommended church or organization to volunteer in Beulah or any area here in the Aspen Acres Fire burn scar. Volunteer opportunities range from filling sandbags to helping families sift through the remains of their homes for anything that survived. We have a list of resources available for anyone in need as well.
Also: please continue to be gentle and kind to our displaced wildlife. Buckle down your trashcans so bears move on and everyone stays safe. God bless!
